Mission
To ensure a systemic framework for integral education, synthesizing knowledge in the following domains:
- natural sciences - mathematics, physics, chemistry;
- modern technologies - nanotechnologies, biotechnologies, oil-chemistry technologies, energy-saving technologies, applied consumer programmes, computer design and mathematical modelling;
- computer and information systems - programming, WEB-design, multimedia systems;
- analytical management – applied statistics, scientific forecasting and optimization methods.
Integration of fundamental sciences and computer technologies determines the strategic direction for evolutionary perspectives of the Department, its scientific areas of investigation, and realization of the creative potential of the academic staff in the fields of theoretical and applied researches. We also consider as our mission - knowledge dissemination among the creative youth who are interested in actual problems in the fields of natural sciences, computer technologies and information processing. This way captures the entire cycle of meetings with young people, creative professional competitions for school and university students, workshops and conferences, as well as issuing scientific magazines and journals.
