The library fonds have been formed in accordance with the study programmes in the following directions: economics, finance, business management, business law, information computer technologies, industry of hospitality, humanitarian sciences, culture management, and course books on the languages studied at the Institute. School textbooks are also available. Materials are available in Latvian, English, Russian, and other languages.

The academic staff of the Institute is actively writing and publishing the books, which are of invaluable help in the studies. The publications of the academic staff of the Institute can be bought or borrowed in the library.

Numerous lectures, presentations, and methodical recommendations elaborated by the Institute academic staff can be provided in electronic ways.

In the reading-room of the library students have free access to 16 units of computers and the Internet.

There are several permanent and constantly renovated exhibitions:
