Erasmus+ is the European Union Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020.

Erasmus+ joins several programmes supported by the EU (including Comenius, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Erasmus, Jean Monnet; learning mobilities, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, etc.) which are replaced by a joint programme. Duration of the programme: 2014-2020.

    Structurally Erasmus+ is divided into three ‘Key Actions’ – the main areas of support:
  • Learning Mobility for Individuals;
  • Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices;
  • Support for Policy Reform.

There are also two separate areas of the programme for Jean Monnet activities and Sport.

The programme is approved by the European Parliament in 2013, November 19.
