Master of Business Administration has been designed by Information Systems Management Institute, using work experience of Latvian and foreign higher educational establishments and considering the demand of highly-qualified specialists in business administration for Latvian economy.

This professional study programme is the highest 5th level of business administration study programme. Master of Business Administration offers intensive management development. The MBA requires the study of a series of common “core” modules plus electives.

The study programme consists of the following specializations:

• Information Systems.

• Total Quality Management System,
• Commercial and European Law,
• Financial Management,
• Investments and Banking etc.

Theoretical and practical parts of master’s study programme provide scientific research in the field of business administration management and mastering the technologies of modern information systems. The graduates of the programme are prepared to determine and to formulate the main principles of organizational activities, to plan, to manage and coordinate the main activities in establishment and work of other establishments according to enterprise’s or organization’s goals, international legislation and the normative acts of the Republic of Latvia.

The skills and knowledge developed during MBA courses are applicable to all forms of organization and useful both to professional managers and to those with entrepreneurial ambitions and desire to build their own career. The programme has been put into action with the cooperation of the other Latvia and foreign and including entrepreneurs so that the graduates could compete successfully on the labour market as well as found and develop their own business.
