Leisure organizer (animator) – is the specialization of the accredited professional Bachelor’s Degree study programme “Business Administration”.

The process of professional Bachelors’ preparation ensures students the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences of the level which enables the programme graduate to plan successfully both mass and individual events using the offer of the available products and services. 

The general courses provide the knowledge of fundamentals of entrepreneurship economics, statistics, accountancy, personnel and project management, finances, computer science, law, marketing, strategic management and enterprise management. Specialization courses provide the knowledge of the kinds of tourist product, recreation theory, hospitality industry, sports events organizing, events management, culture history, music culture, styles and trends in music, art of speech, body language, improvisation theatre, stage production, events organization, image creation, advertising, culture organisations management and financing, intellectual property protection.

The study programme includes the acquisition of two foreign languages: English – compulsory, German or Spanish – elective. The advantage of the programme is its orientation on practical work. The length of practical training is 26 weeks, during which students work for various Latvian and international projects of culture and tourism. 

The lecturers engaged in the programme are professionals in the spheres of culture and tourism. They ensure the programme graduates the ability to put into practice the acquired theoretical knowledge. During the last year of studies students work out and defend their Bachelor thesis.The acquired theoretical and practical knowledge is essential for successful start of professional career.
