Within the framework of Informational Systems Higher Education Programme ISMA prepares System Analysts—Programmers who are competent experts and correspond to the advanced requirements in the field of computer science. The study programme includes the education of a number of conceptually connected courses of software analysis and practical programming.
The offered courses contain thorough study of personal computer architecture, computer hardware maintenance, theory of algorithms, discrete mathematics, programming in Assembler, programming of operational systems, programming languages Visual Basic, Visual Fortran, Pascal, C++, object-oriented programming, programming of computer nets, computer systems design, data bases and software products design, means of system administration etc.
Throughout the education process students are involved in development of applied softwares, which gets to involve in the scientific and applied projects of the institute’s experts to have a possibility to publish results of investigations in the scientific journals issued by the institute. This enables the students to acquire necessary experience for further practical activities.
The main aim of the study programme Information Systems is to prepare modern specialists—information system analysts, experts in programming, who could work in various fields of science and practice on the basis of comprehensive knowledge of information systems and technologies. Specializations of study programme
The study programme ensures Information Systems ensures highly-generalized theoretical education in the fields of mathematics and natural sciences, foreign languages, information systems, programming, computer net technologies, modern scientifically saturated technologies, economics and management. The special section of the study programme is the mastering of methods of computer modelling and forecasting in the fields of natural and social sciences, marketing and management of the modern technologies and services.
The principle accent of study programme is given to the field of enterprise activity, which is connected with the study and research of problems of decision-making. Thus, the scientific potential and traditions of education at ISMA is used in full measure. The special attention is given to the studies of development techniques of scientifically justified management models adequate to actual situations, which ensure acceptance of reasonable decisions.
The system analyst is capable to design and develop necessary consumer competitive software products and to provide necessary documentation and operational support. The balanced in various subject fields and preparation of the specialists of a wide profile are the main aims of ISMA study programme and the distinctive feature from the similar study programmes for preparation of computer experts.
Course Duration:
- Full Time—4 years (morning and evening form),
- Part Time—4 years and 6 months.
