I had the incredible opportunity to complete my fifth semester at Instituto Politécnico de Beja (IPBeja) in Portugal through the Erasmus+ program. This experience was truly life-changing, and I am deeply grateful for the support I received along the way.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to my Erasmus coordinator at ISMA, Ms. Karina Lazareva. Due to an accident, I initially had to cancel my spring semester mobility, which was heartbreaking. However, Karina’s unwavering support and dedication allowed me to join the September intake instead, making this journey possible.
Studying at IPBeja was an enriching experience. The education system was different from what I was used to, broadening my academic perspective. The professors were knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive, fostering an engaging learning environment. Study excursions and field visits provided valuable practical insights, while Erasmus Buddies organized events, trips, and activities that made the experience even more enjoyable.
Beja, a peaceful and charming town, provided an ideal study environment. The university campus was modern and well-equipped, offering excellent facilities for students. Beyond academics, exploring Portugal was a highlight—from the historic streets of Porto to the stunning beaches of the Algarve, every moment was memorable.
Participating in Erasmus+ has been one of the best decisions of my academic journey. It has given me invaluable experiences, lifelong friendships, and a deeper cultural understanding. I highly encourage every student to take part in this program—it’s not just an academic opportunity but a transformative personal experience.
