
On 24–25 April, the international conference “Information Technologies and Management 2025”, organised by ISMA University of Applied Sciences, took place in Riga. The event brought together international experts and professionals from Latvia.
The plenary session featured Dr Claudio Rivera (Riga Business School), who highlighted the importance of human-centred innovation. Dr Neli Abramishvili provided an analysis of international education systems (IB, A-Level, USA), while Dr Lidija Kraujalienė (Mykolas Romeris University) presented a digital model for leadership development.
Baiba Apkalna (VISMA) spoke about future-oriented learning practices, and Līga Valaine (Swisscom) addressed the growing relevance of interdisciplinary skills in today’s labour market. Igors Rajevs (Member of the Latvian Parliament) outlined the potential applications of artificial intelligence in public administration, and Mg. ing. Raitis Sevelis concluded with a strategic vision for AI integration in Latvian schools.
