Student Council is a special form of initiative, independent, responsible public activity of ISMA students. Council is solving important issues of student life, developing the social activity of students, and protecting their rights. Through the Student Council, students prepare for future professional activities, acquire skills in managing public affairs, the ability to make decisions, and take responsibility for them.
Elections for members of the Student Council and the President of the Student Council take place in October. To participate in the elections, it is necessary to fill out an application form. ISMA Student Council consists of the following sectors:

The Academic and Research Sector actively collaborates with the ISMA Research Department and the ISMA Vice-Rector for Research, coordinating communication between the ISMA administration and ISMA students. It organizes work with group leaders, curators, and professors at ISMA. It represents and defends the interests of ISMA students, helps to solve problems, conducts surveys, and participates in organizing conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.

The Cultural Sector carries out various activities aimed at developing the cultural life of students and attracting them to various forms of creativity and cultural exchange. The Cultural Sector organizes and prepares all cultural events of the university (parties, evenings, exhibitions, etc.).

The Sports Sector plays an important role in ensuring the health, physical activity, and entertainment of students, faculty, and staff. The Sports Sector organizes sports events, supports, and creates sports teams.

The Environmental Protection Sector deals with a number of important tasks related to the environmental aspects of the university's activities and its impact on the environment. The Environmental Protection Sector is responsible for environmental planning and management, public interaction, organizing assistance for shelters, and also participating in community cleanup days.
