Sports at our university have always been an integral part of students' life. Under the ISMA flag, our students have always successfully performed and many times won prizes in the championships of Latvia and the Latvian Universiade.
ISMA team is the most titled in Latvia for the last 15 years. 4-time champions of the universities of Latvia (2011, 2012, 2017, 2019) in full hall, twice silver (2013, 2014) and twice bronze (2010, 2015) winners of the Universiade. We are bronze medallists of the 2012 Latvian Futsal Championship. The team won all these awards thanks to the qualified and impeccable work of the coach – Igor Yatsevich.
In recent years, kickboxing has been very popular among our students. In 2020, for the first time in history, the ISMA kickboxing team took part in the Latvian University Championship and won the 1st place!
