For the past 12 years the annual competition for young vocalists has been held in Riga. Participation in the competition is a great opportunity to try your vocal skills on the real stage, make yourself known throughout Latvia and establish the necessary contacts in show business.
The winners are given the opportunity to perform on the same stage or even sing in a duet with famous Latvian performers at ISMA Festival concert on April 21 2023.
Terms of participation in the competition
- Fill in the online application until 31.12.2022;
- Participation fee – 20 EUR;
- After registration, the organizing committee will contact you by e-mail in 5 working days.
Selection criteria
A contestant performs one song for 2 to 5 minutes. The jury of the competition has the right to stop the performance if, in their opinion, the duration and the level of the contestant's performance do not meet the selection criteria.

Age categories
- A (grades 5 – 9)
- B (grades 10 – 12)
One winner in each category will be determined according to the results of the qualifying rounds.
Jury
- Nataļja Vorobjova – the main organiser of the competition “ISMA INVIRES TALENTS” since 2008, Dr.hist., ISMA Vice-president
- Deņiss Meļņiks - singer, composer, producer (MĀRA, TRENDKILL METHOD). Semi-finalist of X Factor Ukraine, Head of the Department of Culture and Art at ISMA, MBA, Co-owner of the production centre Novalight Agency.
- Deniss Djakons - Bass guitarist with over 20 years of experience in various music genres (pop, jazz/funk, rock, metal, experimental/free-improvisation). Associate professor of ISMA Department of Arts. Currently playing with Ralfs Eilands, Dinara Rudane & ROCK5, Trendkill Method. Music education: Riga Dome Choir School, Modern Rhythmical Music Department. Non-music education: Dr.oec.
